Many musicians in the African continent were caught up in their feelings after the passing of the legendary musician, Hugh Masekela who succumbed to prostate cancer and rapper Riky Rick also came forth to address how Bra Hugh will be missed and fellow rapper and friend Cassper Nyovest also reminisced on how he once performed with the legend at The Bantu Hour.
The ‘Tito Mboweni’ rapper also wanted to work with the legend once more at the Fill Up Orlando stadium show but the late legend couln’t commit probably because of his illness.
“#RIPHughMasekela I once got a chance to Jam with him on National TV and for the past 2 Years, I tried to recreate this moment at Fill Up but he wasn’t able to commit to coming to perform with me. I will cherish this moment forever but most importantly the wisdom you shared. ❤️” Cassper Nyovest posted.
Hugh Masekela is truly gone but will surely be missed.
