Cardi B has voiced uncertainty over endorsing Kamala Harris as the Democratic candidate for the 2024 Presidential Election, following President Joe Biden’s sudden decision to exit the race.

The rapper took to social media to process Biden’s unexpected announcement.

When questioned by a fan about whether she would support Harris if she decided to run, Cardi B admitted she needed time to consider her position.

“I need a moment to process this; it hit me out of nowhere,” Cardi B shared. “This news came so suddenly that I’m actually a bit overwhelmed. I’m at a loss for words.” She further commented, “I wish they had introduced a new candidate earlier… this whole situation feels really unsettling.”

The artist also revisited her earlier advocacy for Harris, expressing frustration that Biden was selected instead.

“STOP PLAYING WIT ME!!!!” Cardi B posted alongside a video, referencing her previous advocacy for Harris as the 2024 candidate.

“Check the date… I said this on JUNE 30TH! I’ve been saying Kamala should’ve been the 2024 candidate. People underestimate me because of my accent, but this is my passion. Don’t let my background fool you!”

Biden, who won the 2020 election against Donald Trump, announced his withdrawal from the race, stating that stepping aside was in the “best interest” of both the Democratic Party and the nation.

Cardi B has consistently challenged political figures throughout her career, expressing her dissatisfaction with both Biden and Trump.

Earlier this year, she voiced her frustration in an interview with Rolling Stone, criticizing both leaders for their approach to governance.

“I don’t fk with both of y’all n*as,” Cardi said about Biden and Trump. “It’s like, damn, y’all aren’t addressing the real issues. It frustrates me because solutions exist. I know they do, given the billions spent on other things.”

As the 2024 election draws closer, Cardi B’s comments reflect the broader uncertainty and concern among voters about the future of American politics.
