Capital FM host Wanjira calls it quits leaving many fans heartbroken after a short stint at the top FM station

Wanjira Longauer the host of Capital FM’s rock show The Fuse left after four years where she co-hosted the show together first with Taylor and lately with  Miano Muchiri.

The pretty petite light skin siren with her trademark side-eye-patch makeup; turned to her Instagram to share the news with her listeners and followers.

“@capitalfmkenya and I have made magique over the last 4 years. Tune in for some last min fun together on my final show. 98.4, mad love, baby!!,” she wrote.

Her colleague DJ protégé also posted on his Instagram;

“You picked a bad time to leave me Lucille!! with four hungry children & a crop in the field…. Sad to see @wanluv leave the #fusefusion team @capitalfmkenya but for growth you must take a leap of faith!!!  All the best miss randrine…”

And also capital FM’s Managing Director Somoina Kimojino confirmed the move wishing her all the best.

“You came in green but with so much flair. I have enjoyed watching you grow and blossom into such an amazing strong personality. I wish you the best in your future endeavors and remember you will always be part of the Capital family! Much One love! #cfmfamilia”, wrote Kimojino.

Wanjira Longauer is the latest presenter to announce her departure in what seems as a string of reshuffles in the media industry.

Presenters have been quitting in the recent weeks as they look for greener pastures. Among the Wilbroda of papa Shirandula who announced her departure from radio Citizen and Comedian Jalango who also announced his exit from the Royal media owned Hot 96.
