Akon’s brother Bu Thiam professionally known as Bu made their mother a very happy woman here in Africa, in Dakar, Senegal to be precise.
Bu traveled all the way from the US to Senegal to surprise his mother with a brand-new house that she loved that she wished to live in it.
In the disguise of asking his mother to take him to see the house while he had already bought the house for her after liaising with his sister, Khady Thiam, Bu decided to surprise her with the house itself.
Bu confessed that his mother is always a proud woman who isn’t known for showing her emotions in public but this time around, she couldn’t help it, she showed tears of joy and happiness as she was officially gifted the house by her son, Bu who is the manager of Ye formerly known as Kanye West.
“My mom called me telling me about this house she loved so much, her dream home.
So, as soon as I landed in Senegal, I told her to take me to the house and give me a tour. Little did she know, I had my sister Khady Thiam reach out to the Realtor a week prior to purchasing the house for her.
My mother is very prideful and rarely cries. So, seeing her tears of joy, made me reflect on how I could never repay her for the sacrifices she made for us. But Love her unconditionally while she’s on earth. Love you, Mom, ❤️,” Bu Thiam shared on social media of her mom’s reaction after she learned that the house, she was giving her son a tour of was actually hers.
