Bruce Odhiambo who was a former Boss of Youth Enterprise and Development Fund is dead. He was pronounced dead after battling with cardiac ailments on Tuesday morning.

The Johari Clef CEO who has worked with most notable artistes from Diamond Platnumz, Sauti Sol, Ne-Yo, Alikiba, Amos & Josh just to name a few was admitted in Nairobi hospital to the Intensive Care Unit after he recorded extremely low blood pressure.

As revealed to a close source who spoke to edaily, his body reacted to the new medication he was given which made him get blisters on his hands and legs which became septic after he came back from India where he went to
replace his pacemaker in October last year.

The source further revealed that on Christmas Day, his BP went too low so he had to be rushed to the ICU and he was also kept in seclusion for the wounds to be treated well.

“His BP has never stabilized thus really affected the functioning of the pacemaker and they couldn’t do dialysis coz his heart was quite weak. His BP fell further to a low of 54 and the family was called in again,” disclosed the source.

Many celebrities and artistes took their time to send their condolences after Kenya has lost a valuable music enthusiast who touched more lives and impacted many musicians’ lives.

Tallia Oyando wrote on social media after learning the passing of Bruce Odhiambo who is currently trending on Twitter: “Uncle Bruce Odhiambo was a good man. He’s been in my life since I could breathe on my own. My fondest memory is when I was 12 yrs old that I will cherish forever. He was also there for me when I lost my job and fed me everyday every single day. I love him. Rest well Brother B ”

Sauti Sol also took time to send their condolences via social media saying: “RIP Bruce Odhiambo 💔. Your immense contribution to the industry laid the foundation for many artists. You were not only a mentor but a dad to us all. May you rest with the angels. 🙏🏾”

King Kaka wrote: “Thanks for believing in me, Thanks for The Cloth Talks, Thanks for the Encouragement, Thanks for always answering my calls , Thanks for Respect, Thanks for the love you had for Kenyan Music , Thanks for the moments we had , Thanks. Safari Salama Bruce tutaonana Baadaye.”

Victoria Kimani shared how Bruce was the first Kenyan music producer she ever worked with, she was 16 years old when she first worked with Bruce Odhiambo.

Jalango wrote: “I dint know that call was the last one…@bruceodh how I wish I came when you called me! Now you are no more my friend! All said and done you fought a good fight! Brother B rest well! RIP!

Sharing a video of them rehearsing with Bruce Odhiambo, Amos & Josh wrote: “This wasn’t part of the plan manze, we never saw this coming😭😭😭 thank you for being so tough and loving and kind to us like a father should. Thank you Papa Bruce. We love you man. #RIPPapaBruce tutaonana Baadaye.”
