A police officer has reportedly shot dead a young man in Ugunja. The killing resulted following demonstrations in the area as the youths wanted an Administration Police officers who allegedly attempted to rob an M-pesa shop yesterday.
Overwhelmed by the angry charging crowd advancing to the police station, the officer was overpowered by the agent who snatched off the Police Officer’s gun and phone.
Believable sources say, the matter is being taken care of. The area Member of Parliament has have addressed the crowd asking them to be calm.
Will the Police Officer be charged?We can only hope as we wait.
