Popular American televangelist Joel Osteen hosted born-again rapper Kanye West at his Lakewood Church in Houston, Texas last Sunday November 17th.
Kanye gave his life to Christ and started his Sunday Service early this year. The rapper’s Sunday Service is a church-ish gathering where he ministers through singing.

Kanye and his Sunday Service team have been ministering in prisons but last Sunday he got a bigger platform when he appeared before Joel Osteen’s congregation of 45,000 and TV audience of 10 million.
Faithful at Lakewood Church welcomed Kanye to the podium with loud cheers when the televangelist invited him to the podium to minister.
Kanye talked about his journey to salvation revealing that God had been calling him for a long time to serve Him but had always been distracted by the devil.
“I know that God’s been calling me for a long time and the devil’s been distracting me for a long time. When I was at my lowest points, God was there with me and sending me visions and inspiring me,” said Kanye West.
Kanye also talked about the challenges of composing his new Christian album ‘Jesus Is King’. The rapper admitted that he had no idea about composing a gospel song.
“This is a gospel album. And I didn’t know how to totally make a gospel album and the Christians that were around were too beaten into submission by society to not speak up and profess the gospel to me because I was a superstar. But the only superstar is Jesus,” said Kanye.
