Boniface Mwangi has called out Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i for exploiting prisoners to build his house in Nairobi.
The rights activist on Sunday, December 20th took to Twitter to castigate Matiangi for using free labor from prisoners to build his Karen house.
“I only have one question for Dr. @FredMatiangi Cabinet Secretary for the Ministry of Interior and Coordination of National Security, why is he using prisoners to build his private home in Karen? That’s abuse of power. It’s also unchristian behavior for a man who professes Christ,” Boniface Mwangi tweeted.

On Monday Boniface revealed that he had received credible information about his impending arrest for criticizing the Interior CS.

The rights activist however insisted that Matiangi was exploiting prisoners further revealing that inmates were working under a Chinese contractor to build his house.
“Before Kinoti misuses @DCI_Kenya’s time by ordering my arrest, ask @PrisonsKe if they received any instructions to send inmates to a private construction site. The contractor is Chinese. @EACCKenya can update Kenyans on Ruaraka land scam. Dr. @FredMatiangi l won’t be intimidated,” Boniface tweeted.

Boniface has equally been calling for the Interior CS to be arrested over alleged involvement in Ksh 3.2 billion Ruaraka land deal scandal.
WE know @FredMatiangi received a HUGE bribe to buy government land from a fraudster. IF @ODPP_KE doesn’t charge FRED MATIANGI then the case will be fake! We know these things. Tagging @EACCKenya @DCI_Kenya and Jayden @StateHouseKenya who appointed Matiangi as CS @InteriorKE! https://t.co/69vLlSfqVC
