Bonang Matheba makes history by becoming the first South African woman to grace the cover for GQ

Media personality Bonang “Queen B” Matheba just made history today as she becomes the first South African woman to grace the cover of GQ magazine.

Bonang Matheba graced the September issue dubbed “The Power Issue” and the whole Twitter, herself included was ecstatic about her making history. The official copy of the GQ magazine will come out on Monday 27th.

On this power issue, Bonang discusses the role of power in the year of the woman, divulges her hopes for the future and reveals what you’ll never hear her talk about.

Apart from Bonang Matheba, rapper Nadia Nakai also made history becoming the first rapper to ever grace the Glamour Magazine cover as well as Asanda Sizani who made history to become not only the first black woman to be the Editor-in-Chief but the first black Editor-in-Chief for Glamour Magazine
