Musician and politician Bobi Wine real name Robert Kyagulanyi has stepped forward to help out the struggling Africans who are currently having a hard time and stranded in China.
Bobi Wine has teamed up with African-American businessman, Mr. Neil Nelson being at the ready to airlift 285 Africans and African-Americans currently stuck in China.
Reports of Africans and African-Americans tourists getting treated poorly in China have been circulating in social media currently breaking the internet that has saw a lot of Africans being stranded with most of them currently sleeping on the streets because after getting evicted in their houses due to the fear of Africans bringing forth a second wave of COVID-19.
Africans are allegedly being blamed for igniting a second wave of coronavirus in the country. Guangzhou, nicknamed “Little Africa,” has the highest population of Africans in China, mostly from Nigeria, Ghana, Uganda, and Kenya.
Sharing a letter that he wrote to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uganda and Leader of Government Business in Parliament, Rt. Hon. Dr. Ruhakana Rugunda, on Twitter Bobi Wine disclosed that he had already teamed up with one Mr. Neil Nelson to airlift all Africans stranded in China.
“As you are aware, many Ugandans, Africans from fraternal African countries as well as many African-Americans and people from the Caribbean are stuck in different parts of China.” the letter Bobi Wine wrote to the Prime Minister of Uganda read in part.

“Aside from the hardship imposed on them by the novel coronavirus disease,” the letter read, “many of them are undergoing gross human rights violations. Many have been ejected from residences and forced to sleep on streets. We are in touch with many of them who have reported incidents of targeted attacks; being denied entry into certain public facilities as well being denied medical care. We have watched disturbing videos of pregnant mothers being turned away from hospitals, simply because they are black.”
Bobi Wine requested the Republic of Uganda to accept to receive the Africans who would be airlifted from China.
“I have recently partnered with Mr. Neil Nelson, a U.S. based-businessman and CEO of Atlanta Black Star, the largest Black-owned digital news platform in the United States. Mr. Nelson and his team are putting together resources to airlift some of the most pressed people from China to a country willing to receive them. Our expectation is that upon arrival, they will be tested for COVID-19 and quarantined as needed.” the letter read.
Bobi Wine also revealed that they would love to airlift 285 people using a private chartered jet(Quantum Jets – Airbus A330-200).
Bobi Wine hasn’t shared any details in regard to the same since he is still waiting on key information from the Ugandan Government through the Prime Minister, Rt. Hon. Dr. Ruhakana Rugunda.
