This is what he had to say;

“Can’t believe I was almost depressed in University cos them engineering shit was killing me, all I wanted to do was rap.

University made me feel like a failure, niggas were getting As and future looking bright, I was dropping mixtapes and hoping notjustokay would post it.

Really grateful for how far I’ve come. I don’t know who would have been taking care of my mum if this music didn’t work

When I see niggas reading overnight all the time at Law 201 hall, I’d be asking myself what am I doing with my life like this? I can answer now, I was laying a foundation.

my serious friends in school are doing well in their respective fields rn, we all made choices and dedicated our lives to it, and it’s paying off,” he shared on Twitter.

BlaBonez is now easily considered to be one of the best rappers in Africa today, evidently, he made the right choice of choosing music after all.
