Mavo On The Beat sues the guy who pulled down ‘Si Huchanga’ hit record

Si Huchanga still is and was one of the best releases coming out this year, Mavo On The Beat of Black Market Records has vowed to make an example out of the artist who goes by the name of Master Lee Macho Makali.

The artiste in question claimed that Mavo On The Beat used part of his song title ‘Changa’ on their new song which is by no means considered as copyrighted content, it’s doesn’t really add up stated Mavo on The Beat.

The Label quoted that they are not going to suffer any setbacks with this song being pulled down from YouTube. Matters are now in court and it’s an open ongoing case.

The Kenyan Music Regulatory Board has ordered the artist to release the song back to YouTube with immediate effect.

In reality, this stream is 100% original content, the vocals, rhythms, and music were all created in our studio.

No samples were used on this song and this strike or takedown is false and frivolous. The accuser 8K is trying to use it to gain clout or a bigger name as he has stated on his social media accounts.

The song which had already accumulated over 200k views on Youtube and was on fast trending was pulled down on grounds that it contained sampled content. It has been a trend in Kenya with videos getting pulled down without any substantial proof of ownership forcing artistes to be subjected to a lot of blowups.

Mavo On The Beat has vowed to sue Master Lee Macho Makali as he addressed the hit song ‘Si Huchanga’ hit song getting pulled down by Master Lee Macho Makali.

“So many have been asking why I am silent about my jam “SI HUCHANGA” being pulled down from youtube!! Am here to address the matter!,” he shared in part on Instagram.

He went on to explain that the word “Changa” doesn’t qualify to be considered a sample stressing that it’s impossible to copyright a word, a single word in that matter.

“Some upcoming artist/idiot by the name @machomakali decided to pull down the song last week claiming it was his idea. This claim is without merit. The accuser claims a sample was made.

The use of the word “CHANGA” which is not a sample. It is not possible to copyright a word. This is a ridiculous claim and without merit. My team and I have taken the matter seriously and have decided to deal with it Lawfully!!” Mavo on the beat shared on social media.

The song ‘Si Huchanga’ is soon to be back on YouTube stated the label, we are on the lookout for more info on how it’s going to go down. Stay tuned
