Bien’s wife Chiki Kuruka raised eyebrows when she chased away a female reveller who was twerking for her husband on backstage.
The Sauti Sol lead singer strongly defended his wife after she was seen pushing a woman who was twerking for her husband while he was performing.
Speaking in an interview with SPM Buzz, Bien reiterated that Chiki was right to chase away the woman from stage.
“Chiki is my manager and for that reason before I go on stage I need to be in a frame of mind that is unbothered, undeterred. Haifai kuwa na distractions hapo hivyo karibu. Nafaa tu kuenda kudeliver message yangu kwa watu vile inafaa. So huyo dem kuwa hapo at that time, timing ilikua off,” Bien said.
However, Bien noted that if the timing is right he would love to have the same chick twerk for him, noting that his wife would not have any issue with that.
“Huyo dem ni fan. How fans behave, let fans be fans. It’s just that the timing was off. I actually don’t think if that chick came and twerked on me and Chiki was just there and there was no activity I was meant to be doing like going on stage, I don’t think Chiki would have told her to leave,” Bien said.
“Ata huyo dem siku ingine akiniona akuje tu a twerk bado timing ikiwa poa. Read the room,” he added.
