Sauti Sol sensation, Bien Aime Baraza, has made headlines once more with the relocation of his popular nightclub to the upscale Kilimani suburbs.
The closure of Bien’s renowned bar and grill, The Manhattan, sent shockwaves through Nairobi’s nightlife scene, as the club’s management took the landlord to court over unresolved disputes.
However, the charismatic singer has confirmed that a new venue has been secured for The Manhattan, promising patrons an even more spectacular experience than before.
Despite the legal battles looming, Bien remains optimistic about the future of his nightclub, highlighting the invaluable lessons learned from its operation and its significant community impact.
Originally launched in July 2022, The Manhattan boasted a prime location at the crossroads of Mombasa Road and the entrance to the bustling Imara Daima Estate, situated on the first floor of The Imaara Mall.
Its star-studded grand opening drew a glittering array of celebrities, including Comedian Eric Omondi, Eugene Mbugua, MC Antonio, Chiki Kuruka (Bien’s wife), Comedian Eddie Butita, Comedian Nick BigFish, and Comedian Carlos Experience, among others.
However, a statement issued on April 5 by the club’s directors, including Bien, revealed that unresolved disputes with the landlord forced the club to shut its doors in March.
Undeterred by this setback, Bien remains resolute in his commitment to providing a vibrant space for fans to socialize and unwind, promising an exciting new chapter for The Manhattan in its plush new Kilimani locale.
