The wedding that they had was a civil ceremony held at the Registrar of Marriages. They, later on, held their reception ceremony at an invite-only party at the Pallet Cafe in Lavington, Nairobi.
The couple spent less than KShs. 300,000 for their special day, a day that they believe is a personal, one-day affair that did not call for the exorbitant spending and splurging that has been made the new normal for years on end.
Speaking on why he doesn’t want to attend weddings anymore, Bien says that he has been to so many weddings because he has attended way too many for one person.
“I am no longer interested in attending weddings because I have attended so many of them.
It was my way of celebrating my commitment to my wife,” Bien stated when he was probed on the reason why he got married in a private ceremony despite fans looking forward to his grand wedding just like fellow Sauti Sol’s band member Polycarp Otieno had his.
