Betty Kyallo, the former KTN, K24 TV presenter might just be the next Nairobi Women’s representative to get elected in the upcoming general election if everything goes right.
According to Alinur Mohamed popularly known as Somali bae, who is a close friend of Betty Kyallo, the former TV presenter and now-successful businesswoman might be vying for the seat in the 2022 general elections.
The aspiring Kamukunji Constituency member of parliament speaking told Ali Baba at Radio Jambo that Betty Kyallo has the same political ambitions just like he does and there’s a probable chance that she’ll vie for the position.
“Betty Kyallo is a good friend of mine, we talk often, and everyone knows she was a media personality. Yes, she wants to run for the seat for women representative in Nairobi,” Alinur said.
Betty Kyallo is yet to make the official statement about running for office in 2022 telling Nairobians about her potential vying for the Nairobi Women’s Representative position.

Betty Kyallo stirred the internet last year after it was alleged that he was the new boyfriend of Betty Kyallo and it was then that he was dubbed “Somali bae” by netizens.
Alinur Mohamed has since denied being in a romantic relationship with Betty Kyallo saying that he has a family with two children plus him being a Muslim, he wouldn’t have kept the relationship a secret.
“I’m not in a relationship with Betty. I’m a family man, a father of two. Sisi kama waislamu tunapewa nafasi nne, we don’t do things chini ya maji. We do things out in the public.” Alinur Mohamed said.

Alinur maintained that he is just a mentor of Betty Kyallo, nothing more, nothing less.
“We can say you are the mentor to Betty Kyallo?” Ali Baba posed.
Alinur responded, “Yes, exactly.”
Betty Kyallo once went public saying how he might actually be willing to vie for an electoral position having a conversation with Churchill real name Daniel Ndambuki.
She said she was ready to try her luck in politics since she’s achieved almost everything she’s set out to accomplish in her life.
“It is in my plan, I have achieved everything I wanted to achieve so far and there are a few things I need to do: package myself and think about what is it that I want to run for, but I will do it.”
Even the former Citizen TV presenter Jacque Maribe might consider running for an elective office in 2022 especially in Murang’a county.
“I have not ruled it out but what I’m saying is, I have not declared it. I’m receiving a lot of messages with people asking if I will run.
The proper response from me is, ‘See you at the finish line!'”
Jalang’o, Robert Alai, Alex Mwakideu have also expressed intentions of vying for a political seat come 2022.
I guess in 2022, we are going to have surprises of celebrities intending to run for a political office. We’ll have to wait and see.
