Betty Kyallo speaks on Anjlee Gadhvi’s TV comeback after years of battling cancer

K24 news anchor Anjlee Gadhvi Noorani has been battling cancer for the last five years.  Anjlee was first diagnosed with liver cancer in 2013. She went public about it in 2015 after various treatments options drained funds raised by family and friends.

She appealed to the public to help her raise money for her treatment, and amazingly over Ksh 6 million was donated by Kenyans in a matter of hours.

Anjlee announced that she had won the fight against cancer sometimes in September 2016. However the cancer came back two years later, Anjlee has since been undergoing radiotherapy treatment since early last year.

Anjlee successfully completed cancer treatment in September this year, the K24 anchor traveled to India for the advanced treatment.

Anjlee made TV comeback last Friday October 25th with an amazing show called ‘The Cancer Lie’ that focuses on people that have been on the same journey as her and their efforts to defeat it.

She appeared on Betty Kyallo’s show to talk about ‘The Cancer Lie’.
