Bensoul is currently the talk of the town thanks to his latest offering ‘Nairobi’ that features Nviiri the Storyteller, Mejja, and Sauti Sol.
Folks can’t seem to get enough of this song, but who can blame them, the record is a hit record.
Sitting down with Jalang’o on his YouTube channel, Bensoul opened up about many things that not many people knew about him, he even talked about where he stands when it comes to the legalization of marijuana in the country.
Bensoul wants the government to legalize marijuana in the country because it’s a big industry
Among many things that Bensoul and Jalang’o talked about, was his songwriting skills apart from being a multi-instrumentalist who can easily play the piano and guitar seamlessly.
As it so happens, Bensoul is the songwriter who wrote the hit record ‘El Shaddai’ by H_art the Band that became an instant hit, the project was included in their recent studio album, ‘MADE IN THE STREETS’. The song features record producer Cedo real name Cedric Kadenyi.
“They took good care of me. They have been so good to me and I feel that I gave the song to my own brothers,” he said.
Bensoul is happy the group delivered on the execution of the song that he wrote and gave them reiterating that it was one of the perfect and best decisions he’s ever made in his career as an artiste and a songwriter.
“I feel they did 100% justice to the song. I congratulate them for making the song blow up.” Bensoul told Jalang’o.
Bensoul and H_art the Band have a rather unique history together. The group used to take care of him and together, they lived in Kayole before moving to Ongata Rongai.
Bensoul met H_art the Band when he was a student and they have since been close friends.
