Khaligraph Jones shocked the entire world when he called out all African rappers basically West African and South African rappers the other day, I mean that’s a rather bold move even for him with his achievements and all.
Well, Khaligraph Jones couldn’t let his reputation be tarnished when he was called out by Blaqbonez after winning his very first Soundcity MVP Award in Lagos this past week and released his first diss track record dubbed ‘Best Rapper in Nigeria’ which got entire Africa speaking about the Kayole rapper.
Nigerians –who most of them knowing Khaligraph Jones for the very first time ever — were also siding with Khaligraph Jones after he released the diss track record aimed at the Chocolatecity signed artiste, Blaqboy and calling himself the best rapper in Nigeria.
Khaligraph Jones trended for the very first time in Nigeria thanks to his hardcore diss track record which was and still is an unprecedented move in Nigeria, it is not corroborated but rumors have it that even Diamond Platnumz has never trended on Twitter in Nigeria despite his numerous hit records and the support and fanbase he usually has in Nigeria notwithstanding his collaboration with Nigerian superstars.
Khaligraph Jones didn’t come to play at all and reminded people that he didn’t come to play in the African rap scene since he believes he has already surpassed what he has to surpass in the Kenyan rap scene already and Africa domination is what is on his crosshairs.
Khaligraph Jones’ ‘Best Rapper in Nigeria’ diss track breakdown
Khaligraph Jones really went in on Blaqbonez by calling him out letting the world know that he isn’t one to play with and not only him as a rapper but the entire African region because he went on record saying that he is about to make African hip hop music great again even though he didn’t mention that on the diss track record per se.
Khaligraph Jones also took a jab on Blaqbonez on the name of his diss track ‘Best Rapper in Nigeria’ since Blaqbonez already had music out a couple of months back dubbed ‘Best Rapper in Africa’ taking shots and serving responses to a lot of Nigerian hip hop acts.
Khaligraph Jones’ diss track record proved that he believes in himself as an artiste calling out an entire country with a few exceptions, there’s no artiste in African hip hop history who has ever called out an entire country, leave alone two. Khaligraph Jones called out an entire country (Nigeria) thanks to Blaqbonez and called out South African rappers through his social media handles and so far, there’s no one South African rapper who has since replied to him so far.
Khaligraph Jones who according to fans(even Nigerian ones) bodied Blaqbonez said that after he’s done dissing Blaqbonez and owning the Nigerian hip hop scene, he will focus his attention on South Africa but he hasn’t mentioned who is about to call out from the South.
The rapper has worked with South African rappers Zoocci Coke Dope, Youngsta CPT and BigStar Johnson on the same record a couple of years back so it’s sufficed to say that at least he doesn’t have any beef and/or smoke from the three aforementioned rappers.
Blaqbonez’s ‘Green Blaq Green’ diss track breakdown
Fans wanted Blaqbonez to reply, especially Nigerian fans after Khaligraph Jones released the diss track aimed at him which made the Kenyan rapper trend on Twitter at number 1 in Nigerian and the record ‘The Best Rapper in Nigeria’ trending on YouTube ever since it was released till today.
Blaqbonez almost replied literally to everything Khaligraph Jones spat on his track from the OG calling him 40 years old to Khaligraph Jones respecting M.I Abaga and Ice Prince Zamani to Khaligraph Jones’ drip.
It’s sad to note that Blaqbonez is not trending in Nigeria (his home country) on YouTube leave alone in Kenya while Khaligraph Jones is trending in both countries and the streaming numbers don’t do anything to help his case at all.
Blaqbonez hasn’t even reached 50,000 streams on YouTube alone while Khaligraph Jones’ ‘Best Rapper in Nigeria’ diss track is almost garnering 200,000 streams on YouTube in two days since its release.
In every hip hop beef there has to be a rapper who gets to take an L on every rap beef.
In the case of LL Cool J and Canibus, the latter took an L(lose) even though most hip hop heads would argue that he really won the beef. Drake and Meek Mill saw Meek taking an L, 50 Cent and Ja Rule saw Ja taking an L, Machine Gun Kelly and Eminem saw MGK getting that deserved L, AKA and Cassper Nyovest, well we are still waiting on that tally but all in all, you get the drift, there has to be a loser and a winner in every hip hop beef and on Khaligraph Jones and Blaqbonez is very clear as day who the winner is.
Khaligraph Jones clearly won the first round of this beef and almost everybody who followed the beef since it began would agree with this as a true fact, including Nigerians as well.
We are not sure if there will be a second round of this beef between Blaqbonez Vs Khaligraph Jones but on this first round, Khaligraph Jones has won and he has done it in a classy fashion and in the meantime he has won over some Nigerian fans who now knows him as one of the lethal African emcee from Kenya and of course thanks to him, now the Kenyan rap scene has been put on a hip hop pedestal.
