Bamboo: every east African rapper should pay homage, I am the first OG

bamboo holding a microphone

Bamboo is by far one of the best rappers to ever come out from Kenya to represent Africa and her culture in music,.

Even one of his hit songs dubbed ‘Usilete Compe’ has been used a soundtrack in a movie so that makes him a superb pioneer in the music industry in Kenya especially in the hip hop genre.

That being said, Bamboo who happens to be a brother to yet another musical sensation, Victoria Kimani said he deserves his accolades and he wants them in full as he wants people especially all the east African rappers to acknowledge him as the first-ever OG to be in the game.

“Every East African rapper should pay homage. #itsbamboopappi #imjustsayin #respectthefirstOG” he posted on the gram.

Who knows if these are subliminal but at least he spoke his mind out.
