Kenyan gospel singer Bahati has lately been making several trips to Tanzania, and has even worked with WCB’s finest Rayvanny and Mbosso.

Bahati’s latest trip to Tanzania was in early July 2019 when he flew to Dar es Salaam attend Tanasha Donna Oketch’s birthday party which was held at Milimani City mall on July 7th.

Diamond threw his Kenyan girlfriend and his mother Sanura Sandra a joint birthday party. Tanasha was turning 24,  it was also during that birthday that Diamond publicly announced he was expecting a baby boy with the Kenyan beauty.

Bahati, Eric Omondi were among Kenyan celebs who attended that birthday party, the latter was the official MC at the event.

Rumors have been rife that Bahati is joining Diamond’s Wasafi Records. Note that the Kenyan singer also owns his own record label – Eastlands Most Beloved (EMB) Records.

Speaking during an interview on Milele FM, Bahati stressed that his frequent trips to Tanzania and his closeness to Diamond has nothing to do with him joining Wasafi.

The Kenyan singer revealed that he has a business relationship with the Wasafi family, apparently he is learning from Diamond how to run a successful record label.

“Mimi kuenda Wasafi of course is for the business relationship and you know with no doubt, Wasafi is one of the most successful record labels in Africa na kuwa rafiki na mtu kama Diamond you learn a lot and nikitoka hapa niende Tanzania, I just go chill and I listen. Pengine ananiambia hii ndio mistake alimake, usifanye hivi, fanya hivi ananiadvice kuhusu tomorrow, about the music industry, about running a record label and that’s why I made so many changes,” said Bahati.
