Numbers don’t lie!! Bahati is dominating the music charts across the board

Bahati is on a roll thanks to his debut studio album dubbed ‘Love Like This’ that he released early this month which has captured the attention of everybody else proving seamlessly that he deserves to be among the best of the best music acts in Africa.

His latest studio project has 10 songs that were strategically picked up for the album compilation. Each song on the album has a story to tell, from the first song to the last song shows Bahati’s versatility in the music industry after mastering it after being in the music industry for over 7 years.

The album –that was released exclusively on Boomplay DSP– has so far garnered over 1.6 million streams on that platform alone.

Out of the 10 songs off the studio album, at least four songs are already trending on YouTube.

‘Fikra Za Bahati’, ‘Take it Slow’, ‘Kiss’, and ‘Pete Yangu’ are the top songs in Kenya on YouTube with ‘Pete’ and ‘Kiss’ being at the first and second spot respectively.

In a nutshell, Bahati is the face of Kenyan music on YouTube today and he’s been there for a few weeks now thanks to his very first studio album.

A few days ago, Khaligraph Jones bowed down to the ‘Take it Slow’ hitmaker crowning him as the King of YouTube, at least for the time being.

In the Kenyan music scene, there haven’t been any other artistes who have dominated the music charts, YouTube charts notwithstanding, the way Bahati has done thanks to his ‘Love Like This’ studio album.

There are levels to this music game and Bahati is clearly and evidently setting the bar to that level without forgetting to raise the standards while at it.
