Bahati was raised in a children’s home after his mother passed on. As such, the singer has been visiting various children’s homes donating and assisting where he can.
The ‘Story Yangu’ singer adopted his three children; Morgan (4), Purity (4) and Rose (10) from children’s home.
The singer last Friday visited Disabled Children’s Home in Kayole where he donated food stuff to over 50 children.
Below is Bahati’s explanation why he’s involved in charity works:
#BACK_TO_DOING_WHAT_I_LOVE Just a Year after the Song MAMA hit the Airwaves God put a Burden in my heart,a burden that I didn’t Understand Myself but I followed the Voice to Stand with this Kids that were facing CELEBRAL PALSY Disability. At that time I had not really started earning from Music but I gave a promise to these Mothers who were majorly from Kayole Slums that I would Sponsor fully the Hospital Bills and Support them in Paying the Physiotherapist fee for their Kids. It’s Been Almost Two Years since then and Today I stand to Glorify God for enabling me Run & Support this Hospital for all this Time. I Can stand and Say that Ever since that Day I’ve Never Lacked or gone broke God always Creates a way to make sure I pay the Doctors….. I know It’s the First time I put this in Public ever since I got the Burden Two Years ago; But it’s Because I felt I should Invite you My Fans & Family as we do Our ANNIVERSARY Tomorrow at the DISABLED CHILD MONITOR (D.C.M) Centre in KomarOck Phase 2 … And Yes ever since we Started Over Eleven (11) kids have been healed & recovered from Disability and Today they can Walk and Function Normally- GLORY TO GOD!!!
