The controversial Embakasi East MP was arrested and remanded at Kileleshwa Police Station after the prosecution objected to his release on bail pending trial.
The prosecution charged the politician with subversion, offensive conduct and in the alternative that of incitement to violence by uttering words that were calculated to excite disaffection against the presidency.
