Babu Owino is an enigma in Kenyan politics. I lie, I lie. He is one of the most interesting of Kenyan politicians who will come out with the most ludicrous of statements at any given time. The one thing you are guaranteed when dealing with Babu is that there will always be excitement in his presence.
Now he has come out with an allegation on his social media page. He claims that there are plans to frame him in connection with some drugs and firearms that were impounded at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Here is what he wrote:

Regardless of what you think of the man, Babu Owino, this information is surely a bold claim that cannot be supported by facts at the moment. It may be true but who knows, especially in this election season when so much crazy news is bombarding our ears. The era of fake news is real, led by the Donald and the Russians. Please remember I am not saying that the info is not true, just that without supporting evidence it is just that, an allegation.
