About her music
She discovered her talent through her mother who made her lead praise and worship at home.
Her Sunday school teacher also played a vital role in this journey by appointing her to lead praise and worship in Sunday school as well.
Her musical journey wasn’t an easy one since she was still in school by then and her school fees were a bit expensive. She couldn’t add more burden to her parents.
So she was just doing backup vocals for some musicians and also leading worship in church.
Later on, she did some audios with no videos which was pretty good and received some good reception surprisingly.
Yaa was able to get some airplay on Truth Fm and hope Fm from her hit song dubbed ‘Nakupenda’.
The song went on to win the Coastal County Song of the Year at the Groove Awards.
Later on, Eve Bahati cleared her University education and secured a job at MP Shah hospital which enabled her to at least be able to raise some cash to afford some studio time to record her records.
Tetu Shani, the Kenyan talented contemporary folk musician
She chose to go Still Alive where she did her first-ever official song dubbed ‘Umenifaa’ which received massive airplay and made a name for herself in the gospel music industry.
Tim of Still Alive did a stellar music video for Eve Bahati’s ‘Sitasahau’ which she will forever be thankful for. She really thanks God for Tim still Alive for how he played a huge part in my ministry. God bless Him!
Later on, she was able to release ‘Nakupenda’ and’ Waniangazia’ records together with the help of Trey Juelz who has also played a key role in her ministry as well and now the new song she just released some weeks ago is called ‘Waniangazia’
The talented gospel artiste, Eve Bahati doesn’t have any album/s but she’s working on her singles which she will, later on, compile to make an album out of them.
She also has a record with a Tanzanian gospel artiste already on the pipeline, we just have to be humble and wait to see what she has in store for us.
