Catherine Joy Agolla stage name Agolla is a Musician, Model and Graduate from Africa Nazarene University. She was born and raised in Eldoret and spent her high school years in Nakuru at a girls’ boarding school called Lockwood Girls’ High school. She made the choice to do music professionally in 2016 after she graduated from Campus.
Wangechi the rapper chose her video as one of her favorites in the #50guitarske challenge by Cort guitars and Mzazi Willy M. Tuva where she was gifted with a brand new Cort guitar.
Agolla is a performing artiste that has done various types of live shows. Her repertoire for performances includes original compositions and covers. She has performed at the Next Gen Fashion Weekend, Acoustic sets at the Nakuru Street Festival, Supersoul Live by Café Ngoma and Women in Music Jam session. Blaze BYOB Eldoret is another stage she graced as she debuted her first single.
Being a recording artiste as well, Agolla debuted the audio to her first single ‘Milele’ on the 7th of October at the Blaze BYOB Summit in Eldoret. Milele is a Swahili love song of Afropop genre with a touch of RnB and Soul. The audio was produced by Dennis Ihaji and is available for downloads and streaming on all popular platforms. The video was recently released via YouTube on the 29th of June 2018. She is currently working on more music for her upcoming debut album.
Another highlight of Agolla’s young music career is being a Brand Ambassador for Blaze by Safaricom 2017/2018 which gives her the opportunity to inspire her fellow youth.
