Andrew Kibe, a Kenyan who now lives in America and is also a former Kiss FM presenter, conducted a fundraiser on his social media pages on Tuesday November 1st.

Mr. Kibe is known for fundraising for other causes to assist creative Kenyans online on his YouTube shows.

Mr. KK Mwenyewe, a student, content creator and DP Rigathi Gachagua’s imitator, has been in need of financial assistance to help him clear University fees.

Riggy G’s  impersonator is a third year Kisii University student, pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Applied Computer Science.

Mr KK Mwenyewe real name is Waithira Zakaria Kariuki.

The fundraiser was successful with Andrew Kibe’s fans raising over KSh 500K for Mr. KK Mwenyewe after he asked for assistance.

“Hello my friends and my fans despite being a content creator and comedian am also a student at Kisii University in my 3rd year and right facing fees challenges and we’ve been pushed to the corner by the school administration that we either pay the 100% of the fees by 30th of October or we differ. In my case my parents have nowhere to see this money and I hereby ask any person of goodwill to help me contribute Ksh 10,900 so I can complete the fee so to avoid deferment of my studies,” –

Screen grab of Twitter @MattMuhindi comment on @Kibeandy tweet.

Andrew kibe fund raised about 400k ,iQ Watson sent 100k, it was live on kibe you tube yesterday. This was incredible, Riggy G- KK received about 500k shillings. Andrew kibe is a genuine guy.

@MattMuhindi
Is it 350K or 500K collected? Either way, the amount is sufficient to clear his 10,900 fees balance. This is a great charitable initiative and team support that should be appreciated.
