Andrew Kibe and Kamene Goro were locked in a bitter court battle with their former employer that saw them off the airwaves for three months.

Kibe and Kamene quit NRG Radio in June 2019 to join Kiss FM, they were supposed to go on air on Kiss FM starting July 1st but this was never to be.

NRG Radio management moved to court and successfully obtained an injunction that compelled Kibe and Kamene from going on air at Kiss FM for three months. The two presenters violated a non-compete clause in their contracts with NRG Radio.

During the three month hiatus, Kibe’s fake friends abandoned him thinking that he was unemployed. Kibe opened up about his fake friends saying that they only came back when he went on air on Kiss FM on Monday September 9th.
