Jamal Rohosafi’s ex-wife Amira opened up about her troubled marriage while speaking during an Instagram Live session on Friday.
During the session, Amira claimed that Jamal abused her for about two years before ending the marriage.
Amira likened her marriage to slavery, claiming that she had no freedom because the businessman controlled her in almost everything.
“Jamal, you can’t control me anymore. You were controlling me, you were cheating on me. I wasn’t even a wife, I was a slave in that house.
“You never respected me. There was no day you respected me as your wife. You made me hate myself. I lost myself,” she said with great pain.
The mother of two boys claimed that Jamal was threatening her so much that she could not open up about her ordeal.
However, she noted that she is now completely free and informed her ex-husband that he can no longer control her.
“Right now I’m not a maid. I’m not the person I was five years ago. You can’t stop me from talking right now,” she said.
Amira also made it clear that she has already ended her marriage to Jamal and that they were in the process of finalizing their divorce.
Amira’s Instagram live session came after Jamal did an interview with Mungai Eve where he asked his ex wife to move on with her life and leave her alone.
In an interview with Eve Mungai, Jamal dismissed claims that he was abandoned by the mother of his children.
“I was the one who wrote to her and said that she should never set foot in my house. I was the one who left her and she did not leave me as he is lying to you on social media. And if she was the one leaving me, she wouldn’t be arguing why I didn’t give her these household items? Why did she follow me to my house twice and get kicked out? It’s something to use the mind, so stop deceiving people out there…” he said.
The two have been throwing verbal sparks at each other and insulting each other on the internet in recent day
