The richest man on earth Jeff Bezos who is estimated to be worth $136 billion according to the list as reported by Forbes in 2018 has divorced his wife of 25 years MacKenzie with whom he has four children with.
“…If we had known we would be separate after 25 years, we would do it all again. We’ve had such a great life together as a married couple, …” the official statement as shared via Jeff Bezos’ Twitter handle read in part.
Issuing a joint statement released by the Jeff Bezos on Twitter, it stresses the fact that they[Jeff and Mackenzie Bezos] will still continue being friends even after their 25 years of marriage. The decision came about after “a long period of loving exploration and trial separation” between the two of them.
The Amazon boss, Jeff Bezos and Mackenzie have been married since 1993.
The official statement as released by Jeff Bezos read: “We want to make people aware of a development in our lives, As our family and close friends know, after a long period of loving exploration and trial separation, we have decided to divorce and continue our shared lives as friends. We feel incredibly lucky to have found each other and deeply grateful for every one of the years we have been married to each other. If we had known we would be separate after 25 years, we would do it all again. We’ve had such a great life together as a married couple, and we also see wonderful futures ahead, as parents, friends, partners in ventures and projects, and as individuals pursuing ventures and adventures. Though the labels might be different, we remain a family, and we remain cherished friends.”

MacKenzie Bezos is the author of two books, including “The Testing of Luther Albright,” a psychological novel about the challenges facing a Sacramento, California father and his family after an earthquake.
