Bongo Flava star Alikiba had to respond after fellow star Harmonize met him unexpectedly and hugged him tightly.
The two artists had both performed at an event organized by the President of Tanzania Samia Suluhu.
While hugging Alikiba, Harmonize announced him as the king of Bongo.
In response to Harmonize’s actions and words, Alikiba explained that Harmonize needs to build a heart of compassion, and by doing so everything will eventually be positive.
Alikiba continued to mention that among those who contributed significantly to raising the popularity of Bongo Flava, certain roles should be embraced, regardless of how burdensome they seem.
Furthermore, he emphasized the importance of appreciating even the smallest events.
Alikiba explained that sharing happiness with others is a commendable act.
“Kushare furaha na watu wengine pia ni kitu kizuri na amenisurprise,” he said.
Kiba concluded that he still didn’t know what was going on when everything happened, but he thought that Harmonize was happy because of the show.
Harmonize while hugging Alikiba claimed that he is the king of Bongo, a statement seen meant to undermine Diamond Platnumz.
Alikiba and Harmoonize engaged in an exchange of insults at some point.
Harmonize, while slamming Alikiba, noted that he does not need an interview to promote his songs, subtly aiming to criticize Alikiba who was doing media tour.
On the other hand, Alikiba maintained his participation in meetings with journalists. He also intervened when Diamond faced accusations of stealing Nigerian songs.
