Akothee’s mother Monica Yunita Kokeyo has called out bloggers for misreporting their family wrangles as speculations arise over why Cebbie missed Akothee’s wedding.
Speaking at Akothee’s wedding, Mrs Kokeyo first apologized on behalf of the family members who missed the wedding saying that some of them were far away on other engagements.
She however blamed bloggers for ‘creating’ stories that do not exist in their family.
“I apologize on behalf of my family who did not attend. I am not pleased. There is something annoying. I don’t know whether you call them bloggers. They only create their own things which is not in somebody’s family. That one will not help. Take it the way you see us. I have 9 children alive. Three passed on. It is a big family. The bloggers are saying their own things,” she said.
“May I humbly request our young people, you must respect some ages and some words because some of you will not reach where we have reached, some of you will not acquire what we have acquired. You don’t know somebody’s back ground but take it the way you are seeing it. When you are writing your sense and nonsense do your own thing because I know that is how you are eating but select what you are writing,” she added.
Akothee boycotted her younger sister’s wedding which took place in December last year.
Cebbie got married to lawyer Steve Ogolla in December 2022.
In October, the mother of five opened up about her feud with Cebbie and announced that she would not be attending her wedding.
