Akothee has opened up about why she started a WhatsApp group for the fathers of her children and how the group works.
The controversial singer has five children sired by three different men – her first three daughters were sired by her ex-husband Jared Otieno while her two sons were sired by a Swiss Dominic Decherf and a Frenchman.
In a candid interview with Dr. Ofweneke, the mother of five revealed that she started the WhatsApp group for her baby daddies after reaching a point where she felt she was on the verge of going insane due to the burden of dealing with her fellow parents.
Akothee pointed out that between the fathers of her children, each of them had something different to say, something that overwhelmed her.
“At one time I used to be a part of it. When we start to fight for the children, this one says this..,” Akothee said.
The 40-year-old singer spoke in particular about the difficulty of dealing with the father of her fourth child, a white man from Switzerland whom she described as the most difficult person in her WhatsApp group.
He revealed that the father of his 14-year-old son used to block him and cut off the group and later he had to add him again.
“I haven’t stopped crying until today. He still makes me cry to this day. My son is 14 years old, I think I have four more years to cry,” he said.
He added, “He is the most stubborn person in the WhatsApp group. He keeps leaving, I bring him back. He blocks me, unblocks me. We play a game of block, unblock.”
Akothee pointed out that the fellow Swiss parent, without any meaningful reason, always starts creating issues whenever he ventures into a new relationship.
“He always starts seeing me in a relationship. If I am in a relationship, the family cannot sleep. He will start his affairs,” he said.
The singer made it clear that her current husband Denis Shweizer aka Omosh is not in the WhatsApp group of the father of her children and noted that she does not even plan to add him in the future.
Akothee said she reached an agreement with the white man from Switzerland that there will be no drama between them even if they break up later after having children together.
“We agreed, if God blesses us with a child and we break up, he won’t bring drama. I told him I’m too old for drama. Before I got the strength, these days I just keep crying. I always sit on this train, I get off and cry. It’s something I wouldn’t want my daughter to do for anyone to go through because I don’t think they have the guts to bear that much pain,” she said.
