Akothee has confirmed Denis Schweizer aka Omosh/Omondi and her have gone their separate ways after months of speculations.
Hawk-eyed netizens had noticed that Akothee had stopped posting Omosh on social media.
The last time the singer posted the Swish was in June 2023 when she was reminiscing about their wedding.
The two got married on April 10, 2023.
Akothee posted Omosh after their vacation in Santorini, Greece.
From June, Akothee stopped posting Omosh altogether. Notably, the singer was in Europe in August but she didn’t meet her husband or even talked about him.
Akothee only met her children when she was in Europe in August.
Akothee had been brushing off questions about Omosh’s whereabouts when asked.
However, on October 1, 2023, Akothee took to social media to confirm Omosh and her are no longer together.
The singer painfully narrated how she was hurt badly following the breakup, revealing that she underwent therapy for two months just to get over it.
Akothee noted that she was in such a bad mental state after the breakup with Omosh that she had to pay Ksh50,000 per hour when she first sought counselling service from a professional therapist.
She further thanked her ex Nelly Oaks for standing with her throughout her tribulations.

Allow me thank everyone that prayed for me in silence, everyone that walked me through the journey , I have come out of a very dangerous Zone and I have been healing in private , I am on my 2nd month of therapy The trauma I went through after finding out the truth & some ugly stuff that left me shaking ,Went days without food & No sleep , questioning and answering myself , it has been very heavy 🙏 some days , a night will just break into a day with me looking outside the window guessing at nothing 🤔, I would be shaking for reasons I can’t explain, and just remember,I still had work to do, A family and an empire to protect . I started by monitoring my behaviors , I realized I was breaking down quite often for no reason 🤔, even just a simple interview 🤔I had become emotionally unstable, and I couldn’t put a finger on it . I never knew about Emotional Abuse , until I started therapy 🙏
I was in a bad state of mind that got me pay 50,000 ksh per hour for an hour session with the first therapist 🤔,I was shaking and lose of energy, appetite ,sleep ,panic attacks and even lost motivation in doing things I loved to do 🙏
