Akothee has urged Kenyans not to involve family politics in her wedding which will take place on the 10th of this month of April.

Speaking on Saturday after welcoming her daughter Fancy Makadia from France, the mother of five made it clear that only her two sons, Prince Ojwang and Prince Oyoo, will not make it to the wedding.

He said his two sons who live in France will not make it to his second wedding due to school but she hinted that they will witness the second ceremony scheduled to take place in Switzerland.

“MY FLOWER GIRL HAS LANDED FROM PARIS. Receiving my daughter @fancy_makadia at the Airport ahead of my wedding. THIS wedding is exclusively for invites BY CARD ONLY. One card admits only one. Unless it’s (Mr & Mrs or indicated on the card., well communicated. Welcome to Africa, Welcome to Kenya ,Walk mommy down the Aisle,” Akothee wrote.

She went on to add;

“Msilete propaganda and family politics in my wedding. The only people going to miss my wedding is my two sons. Who won’t make it, due to School regulations, but they will witness the one scheduled for 10th July.

The whole of this YEAR AKOTHEE is getting married 🤣🤣🤣🤣 INVITE & CARD ONLY 🤣🤣🤣 10th July Diaspora Swizerland Ndaniii POD INYUOMO MANA AKOTHEE PARE. Save The Date Tuko ndaniii.”

The latest statement by the musician seems to answer the complicated question about whether his younger sister, Cebbie Nyakokeyo will attend the much publicized wedding.

The two have been arguing for a while while Akothee even boycotted her younger brother’s wedding which took place in December last year.

Cebbie got married to lawyer Steve Ogolla in December 2022.

In October, the mother of five opened up about her feud with Cebbie and announced that she would not be attending her wedding.
