Akothee has come out to explain why she does not hate Jared Okello, the man who impregnated her four times while she was still a minor and ultimately left her.
For starters, Akothee got married to Jared at the age of 14 when she was still a student in high school in Homa Bay County.
She got her first baby at the age of 14, and by 16 she had already delivered four kids. (One died shortly after delivery).
Akothee and Jared Okello got divorced in 2006. He left her to fend for their three children on her own, Akothee had no job at the time.
Fast forward, Akothee managed to raise her kids on her own and she even became a millionaire.
The mother of five recently took to social media to explain why she harbors no ill feelings towards her ex-husband.
Akothee said she forgave Jared Okello and that despite her bitterness after the divorce she didn’t block her three daughters from their father.
“I have raised my children knowing their father is alive, loved, and respectedโค even in his absence๐๐พ, but I used to gossip about him somewhere far from my kids before I healed ๐๐ I have raised my children knowing church is a mandatory to go every Saturday unless otherwise,๐๐พ I have raised my children knowing forgiveness is divine๐๐พ I have never allowed the bitterness of single motherhood overwhelm me when bills hit me left and right๐โโ๏ธ, I have always stayed sober & calm knowing very well,my children are not the cause of my suffering, neither is their father , if the relationship dint work between us, it dint work for him too. Respect family values even when things go south ! A child has only 1 biological father and 1 biological mother, take your love triangle elsewhere and raise your children in peace without putting or subjecting your children to hate their father / mother you will never win.when they grow up ,” wrote Akothee.
