Akothee daughter Celly Rue Brown was crowned the winner of 2017 face of Nivea competition. Rue, a student at Strathmore University, was among 13 beauty queens who were contesting to become the next face of Nivea.
The contestants were subjected to a week of public voting where the winner was determined by the number of votes garnered.
Akothee’s daughter won and now she will feature in the Nivea Invisible for Black and White fresh billboard among other spoils.
The flamboyant singer went berserk after learning about her daughter’s win. Akothee praised Rue for her win and also thanked her fans for voting.
“My baby crowned my 2017 , thanks for all who voted for @rue.baby my fans look at our gift, your votes counted , where do we celebrate our 2017 Heroin #BabyBoss @rue.baby We the family of #babyboss we thank you for the great support.#FaceofNivea2017 #NYATHINANIYAWA,” wrote Akothee.
