Renowned Kenyan artist and entrepreneur Esther Akoth, popularly known as Akothee, recently took to Instagram to celebrate the significant milestones she achieved during her 30s.
The 43-year-old mother of five reflected on her journey and shared her accomplishments, highlighting the impact she has made in her life and the lives of her family members.
In her post, Akothee recounted that by the age of 31, she had already constructed homes for herself, her parents, and her grandmother.
“THIS IS MADAMBOSS, I did this 11 years ago. Where were you 11 years ago? I was 31 years old. I had already built my retirement home, a brand new house for my parents, and bought them two brand new cars. I built a house for my grandmother,” she wrote alongside photos of the homes.
Akothee emphasized her resilience, mentioning that at that time, she was not only raising her children on her own but also supporting her siblings and managing her various business ventures.
“Besides raising my children alone, I was helping my siblings, running my businesses, moving from one court to another fighting my children’s paternity battles, and traveling extensively,” she shared.
Now, with her 40s underway, Akothee expressed a sense of fulfillment and balance in her life.
“Now I have found balance and peace. I did everything I wanted to do in my 30s. Now I’m enjoying my life in my 40s, balancing my checks & taking care of my parents and my businesses, giving back to the community, and building a legacy,” she noted.
In her characteristic humorous style, she added, “Now I’m getting love, abandonment, and divorce too and we’re moving forward 🤣🤣🤣. Let’s separate the bride; she’s still fit!”
Expressing pride in her family, Akothee highlighted that all her children are thriving and stable, underscoring her commitment to nurturing a supportive environment for them.
