AKA has come forward to disclosed that he has tested positive for the novel and pandemic disease, Coronavirus, COVID-19 that has claimed scores of lives across the globe.
Taking to social media, AKA stressed the importance of keeping safe each and every other time especially since this disease can’t be spotted in anyone.
“AKA pleads for everyone to adhere to social distancing guidelines, to wear masks and to hold stringent hygiene measures by frequently sanitizing and washing our hands” AKA’s official public statement announcement read in part.
“Since the announcement of the COVID-19 pandemic in South Africa, AKA has taken precautions that were stipulated by the WHO and the SA Government.” the statement read on.
AKA becomes the first African rapper to have multiple diamond records
AKA has disclosed that he will be informing his fans and the general public by sharing his recovery journey with everyone while he’s in quarantine.
A couple of weeks ago, another rapper, Riky Rick had gone to be tested for the disease but came back COVID-19 negative.
“COVID-19 has become a very real part of many lives in South Africa and AKA will, therefore, be sharing his recovery journey with everyone whilst in self-isolation as he aims to be as transparent as possible about his journey with COVID-19.”
