Classic FM presenter Maina Kageni, who is close to Diamond Platnumz, confirmed Harmonize is leaving Wasafi record label to start his own label Konde Gang.

“He [Harmonize] is in the process of leaving Wasafi and setting up his own record label called Konde Gang,” said Maina Kageni on Classic FM.

Harmonize was the first artiste to be signed under the WCB management by Diamond. Now another Wasafi artiste Lala Lava is following in Harmonize’s footsteps to open his record label.

Lava Lava opened up about his record label Bite Gang while speaking to Lemutuz Online TV on the sidelines of Wasafi Festival which was held in Moshi on August 18th 2019.

Lava Lava said the main reason why he is starting his label was to help other upcoming artistes make it big like him. He noted that his decision to start his own label doesn’t mean that he was fallen out with Diamond.

The Bongo singer explained that Wasafi was working in a similar way like Young Money and Cash Money record labels which were founded by Lil Wayne and Birdman respectively.

That’s it,” said Lava Lava.
