Khaligraph Jones is currently trending in the country since his single ‘Watajua Hawajui’ dropped a week ago with Msupa S.
The single has over a million views by now, that’s a milestone for the Kenyan hip hop scene no lie and it’s a huge achievement so far for a hip hop song to reach such heights in the country within a week.
Kudos and congratulations are definitely in order for that to Khaligraph Jones and Msupa S for that.
That being said, Khaligraph Jones recognized a trio hip hop group called Afrocentric after someone hit him up on Twitter and asked to check what Afrocentric is working with, they didn’t disappoint.
Khaligraph Jones was so impressed so much so that he gave them a shout-out at Homeboyz radio after they refixed his single ‘Watajua Hawajui’ with Msupa S and it’s something out of the ordinary.
It’s said that the illest rappers in the industry are still on the grind in underground Hip Hop, the Afrocentric crew emerged with more waves giving threats to limelight artists who for a long time have enjoyed the mainstream publicity.
Afrocentric is a Hip Hop group of 4 boys, 3 rappers & one singer which are Kattapila Daillest, Hassan, Trapkid and Jmoore.
They are indeed putting in much effort and determination towards reaching their goals.
They recently released a track called I Don’t want to lie which got Khaligraph Jones attentions who later promised to work with these artistes.
So much potential they got, currently the crew works out their projects in Kisii Town under Black M studios with an acknowledged producer Vinc Beatz.
Watajua Hawajui refix was on fire, the original version done by Khaligraph Jones ft Msupa S but these boys nailed it giving them the platform to reach more audience who are in collaboration to support these talents to the furthest ends. “More tracks, videos and features are coming through anytime and we are ready to conquer the throne” they said during an interview
Afrocentric are really coming up in the industry as prolific underground artistes that will change the game when their turn comes and am sure their time is definitely upon us.
Who knows, Khaligraph Jones might just decide to drop a record with them or have them in his unreleased upcoming Khaligraph Jones cypher part 2, I guess we will have to wait and see how everything will pun out eventually.
Use the music video below as a litmus paper to what I am insinuating, these rap trio are taking over no lie.
