Legendary news anchor Catherine Kasavuli is recovering well, all praise to the most High.

In her fight against cervical cancer, seasoned media personality Catherine Kasavuli has reassured the audience that she is doing well.

The prime-time anchor, who is presently in the hospital, also expressed gratitude to Kenyans of goodwill for their support during this challenging time.

Before switching to television, Kasavuli started her career in 1980 as a radio continuity announcer at the Voice of Kenya. Let’s offer a prayer and wish Legend Kasavuli a speedy recovery right now.

The iconic news anchor Catherine Kasavuli received a heartfelt homage from CS Ababu Namwamba yesterday when he visited and prayed with her at the KNH hospital where she is recovering.

As the first female TV host in Kenya, Catherine retains the distinction of being an inspiration to subsequent generations of female hosts.
