Ababu Namwamba Issues 3 Tough Conditions Before Meeting Raila Odinga

ODM secretary general Ababu Namwamba on Tuesday morning issued three conditions before making any move to meet CORD leader Raila Odinga.
Raila had on Monday announced that he would be meeting MPs from western Kenya and Ababu Namwamba to address the issues that the coalition members had raised concerning the party.
The secretary general said that ODM leaders and members should give him the respect he deserves prior agreeing to meet with them.

The legislator from Budalangi revealed that he commanded a huge following among western CORD supporters adding that some the ODM leaders had ignored that fact.

The embattled MP said that ODM party was a mess and nothing whatsoever had been done to address the problems. He demanded ODM leadership to address his grievances before meeting with them.

‘Some leaders are fanatical with me for bouncing party activities. On Monday while in Busia area senator Amos Wako was not available but nobody realized that instead noted that I was the only one in absentia. That is a vivid indication that the party is facing deeper grievances that should be tacked before moving ahead with any talks,’ noted Namwamba.

He expressed that he was facing so much opposition because of substitute ideas he had been trying to express. Therefore, he would only settle to the talks if the environment permitted his ideas be put on the table.

Namwamba was speaking during an interview with Radio Maisha on Tuesday morning.
