A huge win for Janet Otieno as she scores herself a nomination at Afrima Awards alongside Gloria Muliro

Gospel musician Janet Otieno has something to smile about as she scores herself a first nomination at the coveted Afrima Awards for the Best Female Artiste in African Inspirational Music under the Continental Category.

She goes head to head with a fellow Kenyan artiste in the gospel music industry, Gloria Muliro with other artistes from the African region.

Here is the full list of all the nominees in that category;

Amanda Malela – DRC for the ‘Kumama’ Track
Charlotte Dipanda – Cameroon for the ‘Sista’ track which features Nigerian Yemi Alade
Dj Lee – Ethiopia for the ‘Etege’ track
Gloria Muliro – from Kenya for the ‘Narudisha’ track
Ogecha – From Nigeria for the ‘Ufedo Mi’ track
Ruby The Pigeon – From Namibia for the ‘Rorisan’ track and
Sandra Nankoma – From Uganda for the ‘Kaddugala’ track
