Well if you don’t know that Nyashinski is back to reclaim the throne he left behind a decade ago, you better wake up and smell the coffee because he is back with not just a bang but with a pinch of vengeance.

After Octopizzo was hosted on a national TV and asked about what he thinks of what Nyashinski spat on his ‘Aminia’ single and what he sang ‘Malaika’ hit song, he boldly said that he didn’t know of the song that it’s practically an anthem in the country.

That right there might have been a subliminal jab to Nyashinski, which is now water the bridge.

That being said, I have come up with the major ten reasons why Nyashinski is considered the pound for pound artiste in the game and a unique artiste in that manner.

It is keen to note that this is just my opinion which I am entitled to.

Nyashinski knows the game

It’s no lie that Nyashinski took the Kenyan music industry to the next level and even when he was still in a music group, Kleptomaniacs, he used to stand out through his rap prowess and major drops of bars after bars.

If it wasn’t for pioneer artistes like Nyashinski, E-Sir, Nameless, K-Rupt, Attitude, Bamboo, and Abbas Kubaff who knows where the Kenyan music industry will be today.

He is laid back

Nyashinski is one person who is very hard to piss off and when you do, he will tell you straight up without going through fences but right on whether you like it or not, he will tell you.

The rapper as I mentioned earlier has been receiving critics(both positive and negatives) but choose not to act on the matter because he appreciates people’s opinion and it will take a mere tweets attacks to piss his composure away.

He is also a nice person to hang around with

Came back after a major hiatus

I mean there are very few artistes that you know that have managed to come back to the music game after a decade off the game and still be relevant and pull the masses.

Nyashinski took a decade-long hiatus and still managed to the scene and make it feel like he didn’t leave at all.

Name just one artiste you know that came back after a hiatus and still remained relevant other than Nyashinski.

He can sing

Nyashinski is the only east African artiste I know of that can sing a hook and still lay down some powerful bars.

Granted, this idea was first commercialized by American-Canadian rapper, Drake and Jamaican dancehall artiste, Vybz Kartel perpetuated it but the way Nyashinski lays it down it something that’s unique and just sounds right, he can do a song by himself and make you think that it was done by two different people as he can rap on the track and still do the hook for the song

He never takes shots at other artistes easily

Like I said earlier before, he is one artiste that will take a lot for him to get pissed off or get under his skin and that might just be the reason why he can’t throw jabs at other artistes on social media or interviews because he harnessed and feed off positive energy and want nothing to do with the negative energy and try as much as he can not get involved in any unnecessary beef and he has been able to manage that thus far though in the rap game you can only be careful for far too long.

He is loved and respected

Even after years and years abroad, when he came back he was shown massive love by Kenyans everywhere and the reception was crazy and even popular radio host, Maina Kageni confirmed that indeed he loves the talented rapper and his music is loveable even if you don’t want to.

It’s like he gives hater naught chance to hate him because he does everything just right.

He changed the game

As the former Kleptomaniacs rapper came back from his long-overdue hiatus, he came back with a bang and changed the game as we know it, he brought back the originality Kenyan music industry and musicians was known for everywhere.

So long as he still has breath, he will continue to release versatile, powerful music that can stay forever until kingdom come.

His music is unique

Nyashinski doesn’t get swayed with the current sway of everyone doing trap music, he keeps it OG and do real, authentic hip hop and rap the one that many people came to fall in love with the genre.

It’s not that he can’t trap, he just respects his music so much not to do because he has a vast audience because I believe his music doesn’t have an age bracket for someone to hear it.

Everybody both young and old can have a listen to the track and still be okay with it.

I love everybody who loves everybody, somebody got to love somebody at some point.
Music is something that comes natural to everybody and it's a language that everybody can understand, I understand it and that's why I speak it
fluently, do you.
