The Kenya Airways, KQ pilots strike has collapsed operations at the airline as thousands of travelers are left in confusion, bitterness and pain as they count loses incurred as a result of interruption to their business trips and meetings.
Hon Captain Ronald Karauri, the MP for Kasarani says, Allan Kilavuka, CEO KQ(Kenya Airways) is not fit for the position.
This comes after Mr Kilavuka went on record to say that the strike will cost Kenya Airways billions of Kenyan shillings if it continues for a week.
“If the strike continues for a week, it will cost KQ Kes 2 Billion, and if you extrapolate, it will cost Kenya Airways Kes 8 to 10 Billion monthly,” Mr. Allan Kilavuka said.
Hon Karauri, MP and SportPesa chief executive officer (CEO), also a former pilot and whose wife Ruth Karauri is still an active pilot had something to say about the current affairs of Pilot strike.

“So this guy knew all this, but decided to allow the strike to happen, then look for sympathy when the planes are grounded.
If the only thing you can do is calculate losses, you do not deserve that job. If you sincerely want the strike to end, you know exactly what to do,” Karauri said.
On Saturday, 400 pilots who are members of the Kenya Airline Pilots Association (KALPA) went on strike.
