On this years Mashujaa Day, masculinity coach Amerix shared a list of counties that he felt have a chaotic leadership. In the tweet, Amerix shares his list and one of them, Meru County has had it’s governor impeached.
Kawira Mwangaza, the governor of Meru, has been placed on trial awaiting the Senate to approve or cancel the motion. The impeachment motion put out by Hon.
DMK Kiogora, member for Abogeta West and minority party whip, received 67 of the 69 votes cast in favor of Kawira Mwangaza’s removal from Meru County’s governorship.
Speaker Amason Kingi must call a meeting of the house to hear the charges against Mwagaza within seven days.
Following the general elections on August 9, Mwagaza is the first governor to be impeached.
Her initial impeachment motion was blocked by the Meru court on November 30.
According to Justice Wamae Cherere, the motion did not begin with correct procedure required in an attempt to remove Mwangaza from power in a proper manner.
Amerix’s list of Chaotic counties in Kenya, are all led by women governors.

After today’s announcement of Kawira Mwangaza’s impeachment, Amerix replied to his tweet with a tick mark, to confirm what he predicted has happened.
Due to accusations of nepotism, improper hiring and firing, deceitful campaigns against other leaders, and gross Constitutional violations, the 67 Members of County Assembly (MCAs) present in the House today, 14 December 2022, resolved unanimously to remove Kawira Mwangaza from office.
In the comments, Kenyans have added Nakuru County led by governor Susan Kihika in the list of impeachable. The only county not named here is Embu County under Cecicly Mbarire.
Former Embu County Governor Wambora made history by becoming the first governor in Kenya to be impeached not once, but twice. However, he was ultimately victorious in his appeal.
Results from Kenya’s (IEBC) Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission at least seven of the country’s 47 new governors are women, compared to only three during the previous administration.
Amerix never shared why he believes the above named counties are chaotic.
