Nairobi Women Representative Esther Passaris has always offered her predecessor Rachael Shebesh a shoulder to lean on whenever she was in need of comfort.
Some three months ago the former Nairobi Women Representative was hospitalized at Nairobi Hospital and guess who visited her there, her main rival Esther Passaris who went on to beat her in October 8th election.
Passaris and Shebesh’s sismance transcends political affiliation and loyalty, the latter is in Jubilee while the former is in Nasa but the intense love shared between them has managed to overcome political rivalry.
The Nairobi Women Rep once again offered Shebesh a shoulder to lean on during the burial of her father on Friday September 22nd.
“The loss of a loved one can only be consoled by and through God. When understanding surpasses our earthly souls, we find comfort in Him. Rest In Peace Mzee Mbugua. Shebesh, my sister, shared with the mourners that her father died of prostrate cancer. She appealed to all men over 35 years to go for annual check ups. I know it’s an invasive check up that most men fear or get embarrassed to subject themselves to. For the love of family. For early detection. Go get the test done. Do not put your health on hold,” wrote Esther Passaris.
