25 year old model spent a week in hospital after her skull was almost pricked open by her insecure DJ boyfriend who attacked her using a wooden cricket bat.
Nonhlanhla Mazibuko who is a model-cum-dancer, was attacked by her 29-year old boyfriend in Moroka, Soweto, South Africa after she bought a new phone and got her hair done.
Mazibuko says her boyfriend started hitting her with his cricket bat after she saw her with the new phone. The model revealed that her boyfriend continued battering her until she laid unconscious.
“He took his wooden cricket bat and started hitting. He beat me on my head and upper body. I thought I was going to die,” Mazibuko said,
She further stated that her beastly boyfriend called her mother and told her that he loves her but that she makes him angry. Mazibuko’s mom quickly ran to her rescue after the call from her daughter’s boyfriend.
“She came to his place and found me lying in a pool of blood. She went to the police station to open a case. Police at Moroka police station refused to open a case. They said I should do it myself. I could not walk,” Mazibuko said.
Mazibuko’s boyfriend was eventually arrested but later on released on bond. The lass is still fearing for her life because the assailant went underground after being freed.
“I’m still terrified to walk around Soweto. I’m scared that he might finish me off if I meet him in the street,” Mazibuko expressed her fear.
